Mark and Chris were two scientists seeking the forbidden. They were pushed away from the university because their experiments were going too far.
The last wish of these madmen was ‘transplanting the dead memories’: as they thought, the memories, the images and everything what the beings create within their minds could be transformed into numbers, once having these numbers you can put them where you want.
Working in the department where they lived, they had advanced a lot with their investigation, they’ve got the brains from a close friend who worked in the morgue, and they had reduced many minds into mere numbers.
Now, it was time to seek the man that was going to receive some of the numbers of the past.
The wanderers were not an option, taking somebody by violence, not. So, Mark and Chris decided that a coin was going to choose who of them both would be the bunny.
Chris was sat down in the chair, sweating cold but: “everything’s for the science”.
Mark connected the brain of his friend to the machine and a wave of binaries was inserted in his mind… The light of the building turned off and the men fell down dismayed.
After some minutes the light returned to the building and the scientists woke up. Chris looked normal, no hurts, no pain, nothing. The investigations continued.
Chapter II: Unleashing the beast
Three months passed and Chris left the investigation, he couldn’t keep the experiment on his hands anymore, Mark understood.
For one week Chris went home late in the night so, Mark decided to follow him to know what happened with his friend.
During the day Chris was silent; he looked very rare and didn’t speak any word.
One night Chris went out of the department and Mark fellow him. They got to a house and Chris stayed out just staring it, just waiting for something.
Five hours and they returned home. Mark was confused.
Elapsed some nights the new investigation of Mark about his friend had shown that a beautiful woman lived in that house, she went inside the house some nights in whose Chris waited at the outside, and Mark watched over his friend, but one night… One night Chris stopped waiting. Staring at the house Chris saw the woman coming and attacked her with brutal force, he punched her until the woman dies, or maybe she fell unconscious. He took her upon his shoulders and carried her to the cemetery of the town. Once there, Chris started digging a hole with a shovel that probably he had hidden there. He dug a hole at the side of an old tombstone, he putted the woman inside the hole and buried her, probably alive… Mark didn’t do anything, he was shocked…
With the pass of the time Mark, investigating, known that the tomb, that now has two corpses inside, was of the owner of one of the brains that they used in their experiments and that woman was the wife of the departed. The brain of his friend was not working as a normal man and probably his new memories were building his collapse.
A mysterious day Chris attacked with brutal force at his friend Mark, he punched him until the man died, or maybe he fell unconscious…
